On-Campus Visits

During your on-campus visit, we invite you to tour the law school with a current student, meet with an admission counselor, observe a class, and/or meet with a faculty member in your area of interest.

Please note: You must register for an on-campus visit at least two business days in advance but a week's notice is preferred so we can coordinate scheduling with our Law student tour guides.

Admission Information Sessions

Drake Law School Open House - October 16, 2026, 1:00pm Central

Prospective students are welcome to attend the Drake Law School Open House on Friday, October 16 starting at 1:00pm. Our open house is intended for students that are looking to enroll in the Fall of 2027 or 2028. During this event students will hear from the Dean, Admissions staff, and current students. If you are looking to learn more about Drake Law School and get a tour of our facilities, we encourage you to register for our event.

Off-Campus Events

Drake Law School admission representatives attend career fairs, law school fairs, and pre-law organization meetings at colleges and universities all over the country. Stop by to gather information, ask questions, and see if Drake Law School is the right fit for you.

Drake Law School is located on Drake University's beautiful campus in the middle of Des Moines—a growing, bustling city with music, sports, locally-owned restaurants and pubs, bike trails, and more.

We are also only five minutes away from the Iowa State Capitol, providing numerous opportunities for internships, clerkships, and more.
