Professor Edrington, Thomas F. Sheehan Distinguished Associate Professor of Practice in Marketing, teaches Consumer Behavior, Integrated Marketing Communications, and Principles of Marketing to undergraduate students at Drake University's Zimpleman College of Business. She is also the Faculty Internship Coordinator for the Zimpleman College of Business at Drake University. She is an active marketing consultant. Her clients include local, national, and global organizations. Professor Edrington serves on a number of corporate and non-profit boards.
She is the faculty advisor for the Drake University chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA). She received the AMA National Advisor of the Year award in 2023 and the Drake University Student Organization Advisor Award in 2024 and 2025.
She has been at Drake since 1986, serving as the Assistant Dean of the Zimpleman College of Business from 1993-2003. Professor Edrington was the recipient of theMadelyn M. Levitt Mentor of the Year Awardin 1999 and theMadelyn M. Levitt Teacher of the Year Awardin 2013. She also received the David B. Lawrence College of Business Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award in 2007-2008 and 2023-2024.
