As a student attendee, you’ll get early access to employers who recruit Drake students, engage in face-to-face conversations that can help your application stand out, get insight into industries, trends, and what employers value, and so much more.
How to Get Involved
Browse the calendar. Check this page regularly for new and updated Career Services events.
Register when required. Some events require registration ahead of time, while others are walk-in style. Make sure you’re registered if needed to any Career Services events you’re interested in.
Prepare in advance. Research the attending companies, polish your resume, and practice your elevator speech.
Show up confidently. Dress appropriately, bring copies of your resume, and be ready to introduce yourself and ask questions.
Follow up. After the event, send brief thank-you messages or connect on LinkedIn to reinforce your interest.
