Jazlin Coley
Director of the Crew Scholars Program
Jazlin Coley is the Director of the Crew Scholars Program at Drake University. Prior to moving into this role, she served as the Director of Equity and Inclusion. She holds a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications from Drake, along with a minor in Psychology and a concentration in Leadership.

I am from McHenry, IL. My majors are international business and marketing with a minor in French. On campus, I am in Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, Woman in Business, and an orientation leader. In my free time, I love to play and watch basketball, explore new areas, and watch Netflix.
Madyson Sklar
Madyson Sklar is a first-year student at Drake University from Saint Paul, Minnesota. She is majoring in Sociology with a double minor in English and Rhetoric, Media, and Social Change (RMSC) and a concentration in Social Justice in Urban Education.
Madyson currently sits on the Executive Board for the Coalition of Black Students as the first-year intern and is excited to continue her as the Unity Roundtable Representative next semester. She is also eager to help out with Welcome Weekend 2019 in her position as a Peer Mentor/Academic Consultant (PMAC).
She is interested in social justice and being a student activist on Drake's campus in her hopes to work as a Director of Equity and Inclusion in higher education.
Shyann Scott
ShyAnn Scott is from the Chicagoland area, She is pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education. ShyAnn enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as playing board games, video games, and basketball. ShyAnn has had a passion for working with the youth since she was in High School and would mentor middle school students who were interested in pursuing higher education. ShyAnn currently serves as the First-Year mentor for the Coalition of Black Students(CBS). In the summer, ShyAnn will serve as mentor/counselor/tutor for the Upward Bound program at DMACC Urban Campus.
