Drake University Honor Jazz Band Festival

The Drake University Honor Jazz Band Festival is an opportunity for the most talented students from high schools around the region to play together and work with the respected jazz musicians part of the Department of Music faculty.

Students are placed in ensembles according to their grades (9-12).

The Drake University Honor Jazz Band Festival is held in Performing Arts Hall in the Harmon Fine Arts Center.

Schedule:

  • Rehearsals from 9:30am-3:30pm.
  • Clinics from 3:30pm-4:30pm.
  • Concert with Jazz I at 7:00pm in the Performing Arts Hall of the Harmon Fine Arts Center.
