Posting Job and Internship Opportunities

Drake University's Career Services Department uses the Handshake platform to advertise employment opportunities to students. 

Handshake for Employers

Employers can use Handshake to:

  • Post part and full-time positions and internship opportunities 
  • Create a profile with detailed information about the company
  • Schedule and advertise events, such as virtual informational sessions
  • Schedule on-campus interviews

Advertising Residency and Fellowship Opportunities

Fellowship and residency programs can send information to the CPHS Career Services Liaison, Amanda Martin, to distribute to students. Flyers and email blurbs are acceptable. 

 

Hosting Networking Events

Employers can engage with Drake CPHS students through a number of on-campus and virtual recruitment and outreach opportunities, such as:

  • On-campus tabling events in academic buildings
  • Virtual information sessions (can be posted on Handshake)
  • Panels
  • Resume critique events
  • Job shadow opportunities
