Entrepreneurial and Transactional Law Clinic

Our Commitment:

The Entrepreneurial and Transactional Law Clinic (ETC) has a dual commitment. The ETC is committed to serving as a valuable legal advisor and counselor to under-resourced and traditionally under-served owners and founders of small businesses and nonprofit organizations across the State, with a focus on empowering local and rural Iowa communities. At the same time, the ETC is dedicated to being an instrumental part of each of our student attorneys’ professional success through providing them hands-on, real-world training and experience resolving issues that arise in a transactional law practice and supporting them in transferring and applying those these skills in Iowa communities where many of them will practice law for decades to come.
