Bell Center Pool

The Bell Center Pool features six 25 meter lap swim lanes and a chair lift. A lifeguard is on duty any time the pool is open.

Tuesday/Thursday

  • 6:30-8:00am

  • 4:00pm-6:00pm
  • 8:00pm-9:30pm

Saturday

  • 10:00am-12:00pm
  • 2:00pm-4:00pm

Sunday

  • 2:00pm-4:00pm
  • 6:00pm-8:00pm

Reservations

Reservations can ONLY be made 3 days in advance. If you visit rec.drake.edu and you don't see any hours either the shift is not open, or all reservation spots have been taken already.

Book the Bell Center Pool

Pool reservations are managed through the Drake Recreation Portal. Log in with your Drake credentials to get started.

  1. Log in to rec.drake.edu using your Drake credentials.
  2. Under Reservations, choose the pool lane reservation.
  3. Pick an available date and time slot.
  4. Confirm by selecting Reserve Now.

  1. Go to your profile on rec.drake.edu.
  2. Choose Court Bookings from your profile menu.
  3. Locate the reservation you'd like to cancel.
  4. Select Remove Booking to release your spot.
