Granberg Professional Leadership Award
The C. Boyd Granberg Professional Leadership Award recognizes and celebrates the contributions of faculty members who demonstrate sustained and significant leadership in professional organizations, and who inspire students toward professional involvement. This annual award, which was first presented during the 2008-09 Pharmacy and Health Sciences Day, recognizes one faculty member for their service to professional organizations. The main purpose of the award is to foster ongoing personal and professional development of pharmacy faculty, recognize leadership role models, and encourage involvement by students in professional organizations. The honoree is formally recognized during the annual CPHS Awards Ceremony each spring and will receive a professional development stipend for the following academic year along with their award. This faculty member will also get the opportunity to present a lecture as part of the Student Leadership Development Series.

Granberg Student Excellence Award
As a way to recognize and thank Dr. Granberg for his role in shaping the lives of many Drake pharmacy graduates, a group of alumni created a permanent fund to assist CPHS students in his honor. Supported by the C. Boyd Granberg Student Excellence Fund, this valuable scholarship award was established to recognize final year pharmacy students who have excelled academically, have financial need, and have demonstrated leadership in advancing the pharmacy profession, including significant involvement in professional pharmacy organizations. It is presented each spring at Health Professions Day.
