Lecture Support
Lecture Support is a new programming offering for faculty/staff members who want to engage their students with mental health education and resources. BDSCC clinicians will provide critical information about the BDSCC and our services while also providing meaningful psychoeducation on topics that are relevant to college and young adults.
Navigate here if you are interested in our team providing a lecture to your class. We ask for at least 2-3 weeks in advance to be able to support your request.
QPR Training: Question Persuade Refer
QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer — the 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help.
