Periphery is the annual, student-produced art and literary journal at Drake University. Periphery is committed to showcasing high-quality work by undergraduate students that is deemed “on the periphery”. We focus heavily on works that don’t fit standard conventional categories or defined boundaries. The journal encompasses short fiction, poetry, art, and everything in between. With this journal, our staff hopes to showcase talented undergraduate writers and artists and to defy conventional norms.
We aim to provide important opportunities for prospective medical students to form connections with like-minded peers as well as professionals in the Des Moines community
