Our goals are to develop professional skills and ethics within our members and our community. By holding professional and service, we hope to better ourselves and our community.
Our goal is to gather actuaries and inform them on the industry specifics and larger topics by bringing in insurance companies to speak. We aim to foster community within the Zimpleman College of Business for actuaries.
Delta Sigma Pi fosters a professional and collaborative space for students enrolled in the Zimpleman College of Business. We professionally, socially, and personally develop our members to better prepare them for their professional careers, as well as provide them with a lifelong support network.
Drake Non-Profit Consulting Club connects Drake students with local non-profits facing real-world challenges. Each semester, the club partners with several organizations and identifies specific projects within these partnerships that allow students to directly impact the community while building their professional skill set. DNPCC members work together to analyze client needs, develop solutions, and create impactful deliverables. The club offers members valuable hands-on experience in many fields, including managerial leadership, marketing, finance, communications, and more.
GIS is a professional business fraternity with the goal of developing our members into mature, professional individuals to help send them off into the professional world. Although we have a focus on international risk management, insurance, and actuarial science, we are also open to all Drake majors. Our core competencies are professionalism, leadership, knowledge, community involvement, and brotherhood, and we do our best to foster these competencies through service opportunities, guest speakers, networking opportunities, professional development events, and much more.
We are a professional fraternity centered around growing our brothers professionally, socially, and philanthropically. We hope to serve the Drake community by providing a platform for business students to grow into professionals capable of leading industries.
